Storyboard!!!!!!!

Here is my i movie storyboard. The quality is low but you get the idea of what is going on.

Lights Camera Action!!!!

For Assignment number 4 I plan to use photography to create the frames for my i movie. I will be depicting a track workout scene. I'll need a model to help me out. The movie will start in Black and White with the athlete stretching and warming up. Then I'll have my model sprint out the the starting blocks. As this happens, the scene suddenly blasts into color during the explosive start. I'll probably have the music suddenly get louder as well. That's where I plan to start.

Alphabet Up Close!!!!

Here are a few of my 2d design alphabet letters in no particular order.

Here's some of my earlier shots I took from the first few assignments where I messed around with my self-portrait and played with depth of field and panning.

Who Do You Believe In???

"I can't close my eyes cuz all I see is terror, I hate the man in the mirror cus his reflections make the pain turn realer..." Tupac Shakur
This is assignment 4 for digital media. I chose the quote above from a Tupac Shakur song titled, "Who Do You Believe In?". I wanted to create a very emotional image by having it mostly black and white with subtle hints of realistic color in the mirror. Is what you see in the mirror a painful reality? Perhaps. The lyrics are represented by backwards ingravings in the mirror while the word realer is outside of the mirror and foward. I added a drop shadow to represent the seperation between two different realities. What do you see in your own reflections and how does that display your true character?

Experimentation

After my first original sketches, I had fun and I quickly learned that experimentation is key to Assignment #3. Therefore I am using various types of textures and Photoshop techniques to create my theme of "What It's Like to Be A Ghost". It protrays various aspects of death. Is death sad, painful, violent, or is it serene and peaceful? The subtle tints of reds green/yellows show this painful and violent side of death. Meanwhile the bright sunrays/clouds, and picture of me laying down represnt the serene and peaceful side of death. The clock in my piece represents the inevitability of death. I focus on using various opacities, cloning and blurring through layers to create my final design.

The Mysterious Shutter Speed...

I was playing around with longer shutter speeds to create this unique image. I ended up with a cool ghost-like effect making it seem like I am in fact a ghost. I mysteriously glare directly at the viewer to create a powerful direct impact. This lead me too create Assignment #3. Check it out!
